Theresa Marie DiPolo Lanza

Theresa Marie (DiPolo) Lanza, 86, of Old Bridge died gracefully Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Old Bridge. Born in Brooklyn, NY she lived in Toms River before moving to Old Bridge 7 years ago.

Theresa was a homemaker, she enjoyed cooking, crafts and loved to bake; she adored vacations with her husband. Theresa also loved watching her soap operas. The main joy of Theresa’s life was her family which meant everything to her. Her husband and son Edward share “she did everything for her children and nothing for herself”.

Theresa is predeceased by her cherished son Nicholas Lanza (2013) and brothers Frank and Dominick Dipolo. She survived by her loving husband of 54 years John Joseph Lanza; her devoted sons Edward of Staten Island, NY, Thomas of Spotswood, NJ and Lawrence of Florida; her sisters Mary and Connie; her adored grandchildren Rosemarie, April, Eddie, Anthony, Victoria, Tatianna, Nicholas and Zachary; her dear great-grandchildren Jaden, Max and Gianna.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend visitation Friday, May 30, 2014 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at Michael Hegarty Funeral Home 3377 US Highway 9 Old Bridge, NJ 08857. Cremation services will be private followed by a 10 am Wednesday, June 11, 2014 chapel service at General William C. Doyle Brigadier Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
