

Virginia "Ginny" Brown, 77, of the Sayrewoods South section and more recently of the Society Hill section of Old Bridge, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 8, 2010 at home surrounded by family. Ginny was a Realtor Associate for over 40 years, more recently with ERA Designs for Living, Inc., in Old Bridge. She was a member and Past President of the B.P.O.E. Ladies Auxilliary, Old Bridge; and was a founding parrishioner & communicant of St Ambrose RC Church, Old Bridge where she was also a member of it's senior group. Ginny's late husband Bob Brown was a member of "The Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh", and also a popular coach for the SWS Little League Baseball & Rebels Pop Warner Football over the last 40 years. Born in Jersey City, Ginny lived in N.Y.C. and graduated from Mother Cabrini High School in 1950. Shortly after, she married Robert "Bob" Brown and moved to Old Bridge in 1960. Ginny's husband Bob of 41 years passed away in 1995. Ginny is survived by her children, Robert 'Bobby" Brown & his wife Anne, Barbara Brown, and Ginger O'Malley & her husband Kevin, all of Old Bridge. She is also survived by her 5 loving grandchildren, Sarah, Tyler, Brady, Gavin, & Logan.Friends may call on Friday, Novemeber 12, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Michael Hegarty Funeral Home 3377 US Hwy. 9, Old Bridge,NJ 08857.
