Born in Jersey City, he lived in Belmar and Neptune before moving to Old Bridge 32 years ago.
Bill worked in management for over 30 years, most recently with Wawa in Marlboro. During his younger years, he volunteered for Old Bridge First Aid & Rescue and he coached youth football for the Raritan Bay Cougars and the Old Bridge Rams. Bill loved to fish, build camp fires and watch the Giants. However, nothing made him happier than spending time with his family, playing with his grandson and planning for the arrival of his granddaughter.
William is predeceased by his beloved parents Raymond Perruzza, Sr., and Amy Drain and his dear brother Robert Perruzza. He is survived by his cherished wife of 34 years Kathy (Chiecuto) Perruzza, his loving children Larry Perruzza and Renee Tate (future daughter-in-law), Lori Coleman and Shaun Coleman (son-in-law), his dear brother and sisters Raymond Perruzza, Jr., Debbie Perruzza and Karen Smith and his adored grandson Jaxon Coleman. William also leaves behind his most precious future granddaughter Genevieve Willa Perruzza.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend visitation on Saturday, January 10, 2015 from 2pm to 6pm at Michael Hegarty Funeral Home 3377 Hwy 9 Old Bridge, NJ 08857. Cremation services will be private.
