Amy passed away in her sleep on October 6, 2016 at her home in Nashville.
Born in Murfreesboro, she was raised in Chattanooga and Nashville. She attended the Baylor School and graduated from Harpeth Hall. She attended Rhodes College and David Lipscomb University.
Amy was a devoted mother and a talented, creative artist and photographer. She loved nature and God’s creations.
Amy is deeply missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her two sons, Colton, 21, and Ethan, 6, and her partner Brian Barker, brothers David and Brian, as well as her mother, Martha Brooks, and her father, Philip Brooks.
Visitation will be on Monday, October 10 from 4 – 7 pm, and funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 11 at 11 am at Hermitage Funeral Home, 535 Shute Lane, Old Hickory, TN 37138.
