Ann Wilson was a wonderful mentor, teacher and friend that I got to know while we were on the faculty at Goodpasture together.  Her love for God showed through in what she said and the way she loved her students. My daughter was blessed by being in Ann’s 4th grade class.  Ann had a twinkle in her eye that let you know learning in her class would be a fun experience. 

The world is a better place for the time Ann spent here. I am praying for all of her family at this time.


Ann and Forrest did a great job rearing our son-in-law Patrick and we are grateful for their investment in his life. We are reaping the benefits of their labors in  knowing Patrick and  in his loving care as a husband to our daughter Deborah  and faithful father to our 6 grandchildren. Mrs. Wilson will be greatly missed.  The entire Wilson family have been a big part of my life since I was a young kid.  Playing baseball in Old Hickory and competing against Jeff and his team as 11 & 12 year old's then, attending high school together and  rooming together at David Lipscomb.  Patrick & I camping in Cedars of Lebanon and me allowing him to drive my Red Dodge truck (not sure Mr. or Mrs. Wilson ever knew this happened)  throughout the park.  About that same time period working for Mr. Wilson and with Patrick at the drug store.  I could continue on, there were many fond memories.  Mrs. Wilson was an extremely warm and loving person,  I always enjoyed the times I spent with her. She was very interesting and was a great story teller.  I remember on several occasions talking to her about her past and her upbringing.  When I was around her she always made me feel special.  Even though Mrs. Wilson has passed and will be greatly missed by a lot of people those memories of her will still be in our hearts and  her legacy lives on.
