After a prolonged illness, Barbara Jean London, age 75, slipped away peacefully in the presence of loved ones at her home on October 25th, 2022. Barbara was preceded in death by her father Felton Clydis Pierce and mother Hattie Elizabeth Pierce along with 4 brothers and 3 sisters. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband Kenneth London. She is survived by her sons Chris and Caje [Destiny] London and granddaughter Emma London. Barbara was a loving wife, a wonderful mother and a doting grandmother. She loved the Lord, her husband, her family, her church and her friends, in that order. She worked for over forty years as an agent in the insurance industry. Barbara’s main interests and hobbies surrounded her family and many friends. She loved to go shopping with her sister and to have lunch with her work friends.
Barbara’s funeral will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, October 29th at Central Pike Church of Christ 4240 Central Pike Hermitage TN 37076. Visitation will also be held at the church from 11 AM to the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Central Pike Church of Christ. Interment will follow at Wilson Hill Cemetery near Lewisburg, TN.
