Bill L. Pendley

Billy Louis Pendley, August 14, 1927 – March 7, 2016 Billy Louis Pendley, age 88 passed away March 7, 2016 at his home in Old Hickory, TN. He was born in Madison, TN to Aaron and Ida Pendley. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 53 years, Doris McCall Pendley and three siblings.

He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He retired from Dupont Plant after 40 years. He was a member of Old Hickory Baptist Church where he was actively involved for over 50 years.

He is survived by his children, Pamela Pendley Johnson, Anthony Louis Pendley, daughter-in-law Michelle Tomlin Pendley and grandchildren, Kristin Pendley Tidwell (Brian), Brandt Jared Johnson (Keiko) and Jennifer Pendley Cornelius (Gerald) and 4 great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews and siblings, Calvin, Foster, Louise and Jean.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Hermitage Funeral Home with Bro. Judd Hayes and Bro. Dan Haskins officiating. Interment will follow in Hermitage Memorial Gardens with family & friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be from 10 am till 12:00 pm.

He was dearly loved by all of his family and will be greatly missed. Billy never met a stranger and has touched many lives.
