HIX, Boyd “Freeman” – Age 80 of Mt. Juliet, TN., January 26, 2011. He was a long time member of U.A.W. Ford Rescue Squad. Preceded in death by grandson, Matthew Hix. Survived by wife, Margaret Hix; sons, Earl Hix, Ralph Hix; granddaughter, Dawn (Brandon) Ambrose; grandson, Alan Hix; sister, Beatrice Harris; brother-in-law, Paul Barlow; and many loved nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 p.m. Saturday at Hermitage Funeral Home with Bro. August Ruff officiating. Interment will follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
