Charles (C.W.) Allen, age 85 of Old Hickory, TN passed away October 11, 2023. He is survived by his daughter Kim and son-in-law Michael Carroll, grandson Chris (Sunny) Carroll, great grandson Spencer Carroll, and several loving nieces and nephews.
Charlie was born in Kingsport, TN and attended Lynn View High School. He drove a truck for Mason Dixon and Consolidated Freightways for 36 years. He loved taking motorcycle trips with the “motorcycle bunch” and he has traveled to all of the lower 48 states on his bike. He, also, loved hanging out at Hardee’s with the gang, discussing and solving the day’s problems.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Gladys (Jessee) Allen, as well as, his brother Vernon Allen, and sister’s Shirley Griffen and Linda Herron.
Visitation will be held Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM at Hermitage Funeral Home, followed by a celebration of life at 4:00PM with Bro. Kent Collier.
