Clara Paulette Jones

Clara is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Walter and Pauline Copeland; her paternal grandparents, Clara and Mack Bennett; a niece, Shaya Grace Wiegand; and a grandson, Kealan Burroughs.

Clara is survived by her father, Walter Marion Copeland, Sr.; her mother, Judy Ann (Bennett) Copeland; son, Jeremy Jones (Maria); daughter, Judy Burroughs (Shawn); grandchildren Adam, Blake, Khloe, Jacob, Devon, Allie, Arianna, Elijah; great-grandson, Damian; brother Walter Copeland (Melanie); sister, Michelle Wiegand (Robert); nieces and nephews Lauren, Lelli, Dajuan Buie, Kaleigh, Spencer, Shiloh, Scarlett, Sawyer Tate, Luna and Kinsley. Clara also leaves behind many extended family members and friends.

There will be a Gathering of Family & Friends for Clara on Monday, September 8, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, at Hermitage Funeral Home. Following Tuesday's visitation, there will be a Celebration of Clara's Life in the Tulip Grove Chapel of the funeral home at 2:00pm with Pastor Devin Webb officiating. Following the service, Clara will be laid to rest in the Garden of Devotion at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
