Frances was born in Cannon County, Tennessee, to the late Robert Thomas Jefferson Thompson and Alta Lee Bogle Thompson. She was a union organizer for the United Steelworkers of America.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by four brothers, Thomas Thompson, Robert Clayton Thompson, Juan Lee Thompson and James William “J.W.” Thompson; and two sisters, Joyce Ray and Joann Lawson.
Frances is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Guadalupe Rodriguez Jr.; four sons, Frank Robert (Terri) Rodriguez Sr., Ricky Thomas (Elizabeth) Rodriguez, Jeffrey Sanchez (Robin) Rodriguez and Christopher Lee (Jodi) Rodriguez Sr.; ten grandchildren, Frank Robert Rodriguez Jr., Ricky Guadalupe Rodriguez, Christina Marie (Chad) Christian, Christopher Sanchez Rodriguez, Cherise Noel Rodriguez, Christopher Lee Rodriguez Jr., Anastasia Rodriguez, Aleigha Addalyn Rodriguez, Emilee Ann Rodriguez and Caylee Ann Rodriguez; and three great grandchildren, Katalina Maria Rodriguez, Angelica Sophia Rodriguez and Annabelle Rose Rodriguez.
Visitation will be at Hermitage Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
The Celebration of Life will be in the chapel of Hermitage Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 1:00 pm with Bro. Paul Norwood officiating.
Interment will follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
Serving as pallbearers are Jeffrey Rodriguez, Ricky Rodriguez, Christopher L. Rodriguez, Christopher S. Rodriguez, Frank Rodriguez, Robert Rodriguez, Logan White and Christopher L. Rodriguez Jr.
