She is survived by her sons, Derek Bowers (Pace) and Shane Bowers, and her grandchildren, Micah Bowers and Harrison Bowers. Cynthia also leaves behind her uncle, Wendell Melvin, sister-in-law, Diana Smith, and her and mother-in-law, Reba Bowers. She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony "Tony" Bowers, and her mother, Juanita Wair.
A visitation will be held at Hermitage Funeral Home, on February 14, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, and again on February 15, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. A Celebration of Life will follow on February 15, 2026, at 11:30 am at the same location. Interment to follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
Cynthia will be remembered for her warmth and kindness, and she will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
