Darinda Lou Rollins Paul, age 63, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born on November 10, 1961, to the late David and Dorothy “Ann” Rollins, Darinda was the youngest of five daughters.
Darinda married Charles “Lanny” Alan Paul in 1985 in Old Hickory and together they built a life filled with love, raising five children: Colby (Pamela) Paul and their children Everett, Ellie Ann, and Emmie; Clay (Jenny) Paul and their children Luke, Lane, Lauren, and Lacy; Corbin; Caylin; and Corley. Darinda loved being called "Honey" by her grandchildren.

She dedicated 30 plus years of her life as a schoolteacher, making a lasting impact on the many students whose paths she crossed. Darinda was a warm, welcoming presence in her home, often hosting friends and family and preparing meals with love and care.
