He is survived by his daughters, Donna Bates (Barry), Dawn Tuck, Deena Downs (John), Demetrice Hatchell (Lanier) and Dana Green; 12 grandchildren, Taylor Bates (Mylania), Trevor Bates (Rachel), Tanner Bates, Ashlee Miller (Tony), Krista Boguskie (Christina), Tucker Batson, Zach Batson, Jenna White (Jay), Nikki Harris, Bailey Green, Presley Green & Lily Green; 10 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be 2:00 pm Sunday, July14, 2019 at Hermitage Funeral Home with Andy Scott officiating. Interment will follow in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Chris Baker, Kon Moulder, George Faulk, Andy Scott, Chuck Tuck, Ernie Tuck, William Redden and Barry Dye. Honorary pallbearers will be William “Ozzy” Osment and Chris Bielacyce.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 ~6:00 pm Saturday, July 13, 2019 and 1 hour prior to the service on Sunday at the funeral home.
