Born January 24th, 1963 in Leehall, Virginia. Proceeded in death by parents George and Bobbye Graham, grandparents William and Laura Graham, and Goldman and Maude Atkins. Survived by four children, Jacob Graham, Kathryn Byrd (Jeffery), Grant Graham, Bonnie Barnett (Bobby), five granddaughters that he adored, brothers Michael Graham, and Roger Graham, and sister, Georgia Lee. He also leaves behind his best friend of 52 years, William Johnson (Billy).
He passed quietly at his home that he shared with his girlfriend, Eva Martin, surrounded by his children and siblings. Doug was a pipefitter by trade and was currently employed by Lowes Manufacturing in White House, Tennessee. Lowe’s was like a second family to him, and he was loved by many, and made several during his time of employment. He graduated from Goodlettsville High School, where he played football and baseball. He loved music and played guitar. Doug also paid close attention to golf, loved the beach, and was always ready to go out dancing or head to the water to fish. He was particularly interested in military battles and history and had been since an early age. Doug was also the first junior league bowler in Tennessee to bowl a 300. Doug was an exceptionally proud “Pappy” as well as an Army dad to 3 out of 4 of his children.
Doug was known for how much he loved his family, especially his children and granddaughters, and how dedicated he was to his friends. He was always willing to listen and offer advice, and he always tried to make people laugh and have fun. He will be deeply missed by all.
