Elizabeth Leigh Darr

Elizabeth Leigh Darr, age 63, of Nashville, Tennessee departed this life on November 27, 2013 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. She was born on May 11, 1950 in Winchester, Kentucky to Liz and the late Ralph Cottengim.

Leigh was a 1968 graduate of Clark County High School in Winchester, Kentucky.

Throughout all of Leigh’s life she was passionate about antiques and reselling on Ebay.com. She also had booths in antique shops around town where she enjoyed making new friends.

Although Leigh spent most of her life in Tennessee, she never forgot her roots, that being Ale 8, a Kentucky local soft drink, and Cream Candy. She also never stopped listening to Oldies music; Beach Boys and Three Dog Night were some of her favorites.

Leigh is survived by her mother Liz Cottengim of Raleigh, North Carolina; her brothers David (Emily) Cottengim of Raleigh, North Carolina, Timothy (Jane) Cottengim of Brunswick, Georgia; her nephew Chris Cottengim and his family of Raleigh, North Carolina; her three children, Evan Darr of Nashville, Tennessee, Richard (Jini) Darr of Nashville, Tennessee, and David (Angie) Darr of Springfield, Missouri; four grandchildren, Isaak Darr, Jack Darr, Estella Thornton, and Pearl Darr.

One funeral service will be held on Monday December 2, 2013 at 1:30pm at Hermitage Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens: 535 Shute Lane, Old Hickory, Tennessee 37138.
