Helen Kay Kemp, age 67, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2022. Kay was born on May 17, 1955, in Nashville, TN to her parents William and Mildred Harris Kemp who precede her in death.
Kay was a 1973 graduate of McGavock High School and worked as a salesclerk in the hospitality industry. She was a lover of ballet and enjoyed traveling. She was a member of Christ Church Cathedral in Nashville. Kay will be sadly missed by all that knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by her brother Jack Kemp in 2019. She is survived by her cousins Alan (Robbie) Crews, Jimmy (Bertie) Crews, Linda Smith, Danny Harris, Ryan Marlatt, Andrew Marlatt and by her friend Lillian Weist.
A visitation for Kay will be held Saturday, November 26, 2022, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Hermitage Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 535 Shute Ln, Old Hickory, TN 37138, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Burial will be in Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
