Mrs. Wade passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at her home surrounded by family. She was born on March 20, 1934, to Mr. Dave Guess and Cora Collier Guess of Granville, Tn. Mrs. Wade worked at Baird Ward Printing Company, until June 1990 when she retired. She was a member of Broadmoor Church of Christ for over 50 years.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her two late husbands, Melvin A. Jones of 48 years and Billy "Bill" Wade of 18 years of marriage, and two sisters, Sherry Warden and Lorraine Guess, two brothers James "Dob" and Charles Hubert Guess.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory one daughter, Sylvia Jones Frizzell, two sisters, Juanita Grisham and Sharon (Dwight) Henderson, and 3 grandchildren, Bobbie (Tim) Farmer, Daniel (Heather) Frizzell, Tommie (Scott) Newland, 2 great granddaughters, 3 great grandsons, 4 great-great grandsons, multitude of nieces, nephews and multitude of friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 23, 2025 from 1:00pm
~ 6:00pm and on Monday, November 24, 2025 from 10:00am ~ 1:00pm with the Funeral Service at 1:00pm and the burial to immediately follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
Bro. Mike Roy will officiate the Service.
