Ira Gilbert Ellithorpe Mount Juliet, TN Age 81, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family April 20, 2015.He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Catherine Ellithorpe; brother, George; sister, Carolyn Hatcher. He is survived by his wife, Grace; son, Randy (Crystal); daughter, Sandra McKee (Lee); brothers, Norris (Jean), Herbert (Atha) and Paul (Pat); sister, Elizabeth Maynard; grandsons, Matthew (Jen), Ryan (Abby), and Jesse McKee; granddaughter, Emma Harn; 3 great-granddaughters; many nieces and nephews, family and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 25, 2015 at the Eastwood Christian Church, 1601 Eastland Ave., Nashville, TN with Rev. Jay Hartley officiating. Burial will follow in the Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be Friday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home, and 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
