Eddings; Survived by children, Pamela Faye Lipscomb, Debra Eddings Bullock, Patricia Ann Contento, James Michael Newman, David Powell Newman; Daughters –In-Law; Pamela Ann Newman, Marilyn Hughes Newman; grandchildren, Brian Contento, Dino Contento, Nicola Gleaton, Chad Gleaton, Jesse Trotter, Christian Battle, Nicholas Newman, Rachel Smith, Emily Castle, Dustin Newman, Joshua Newman; great grandchildren, Ava Contento, Dom Contento, Lily Gleaton, Asher Gleaton, Savannah Gleaton, Aiden Gleaton, Evelyn Battle, Warner Battle, Davis Battle, Jackson Newman, Colton Newman, Anna Claire Newman, Caleb Castle, Brooke Castle, Ava Kate Newman, Joshua Michael ”Tripp” Newman, Layla Smith, Lakelyn Smith, Alexsa Smith, Paisley Newman; siblings, Mary H. James retired as a Major from the United States Air Force serving in the Korean War and Vietnam War. Major James Eddings Jr. will be laid to rest on Saturday, October 22nd at Hermitage Memorial Gardens with Military Honors. Family will receive friends from 11am -2pm at the Hermitage Funeral Home with service to follow at 2pm in the Hermitage Chapel
