Jeanette Dreaden Aldridge, 90 of Donelson, TN passed away Tuesday June 20, 2023 at her home. She was born May 8, 1933 in Obion County, TN to Joseph and Gladys Dreaden later moving to Nashville, TN. She went on to be a high school graduate in the class of 1951 from Hume-Fogg and later retired as a buyer from Murray Ohio Manufacturing Company in 1988. Jeanette is a member of Perry Heights Church of Christ.
Jeanette was passionate about her family and was known as the caregiver, always doing for others. She enjoyed cooking and baking to which she was best known for her Red Velvet Cake. Jeanette enjoyed hosting holiday gatherings, family dinners, and other special occasions whenever she could. She also enjoyed gardening, crocheting, reading, and crafting. She was an avid Atlanta Braves fan and enjoyed watching her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren play sports. Jeanette was part of a bowling community and well known to cheer on family while also bowling in leagues herself.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, William Edward Aldridge, Sr., parents; Joe Henry and Gladys Daniel Dreaden, sister; Betty Dreaden Dean, a brother Billy Joe Dreaden and a brother-in-law Joe Edwards.
Jeanette is survived by her sons; William Edward Aldridge, Jr. and Kenneth (Patty) Dale Aldridge, grandson, Brandon Aldridge, granddaughter, Alisa (Daniel) Hannagan, great granddaughter, Arionna Aldridge, great grandson, Aiden William Hannagan, sister, Rubye Edwards, and sister-in-law Barbara Dreaden.
A visitation will be held Friday June 23, 2023 from 4:00-8:00PM and Saturday June 24, 2023 from 1:00pm until time of service at 2:00PM at the Hermitage Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens
