Jimmie R. Hale

Jimmie Hale was born on April 19, 1938, in Johnson City, Tennessee, to the late Thaddeus Gentry and Mary Emma Hale.

Jimmie was a hardworking man who built his life on faith, family, and generosity. He retired from the Ford Glass Plant after 33 years of service and was a proud member of The Donelson Fellowship Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Gentry (Lois), John, Joe (Doris), and Benny.

Survived by wife, Peggy Hale of 66 years. Children: Son, Robbie and spouse Tammy Hale; Son, Jeff and spouse Tina Hale (deceased); Daughter, Terry and spouse Bob Welch; Daughter, Marty Hale.

Grandchildren- Justin and spouse Melissa Odom; Christy and spouse Matt Wilson; Nicolle Smith; Aimee Hale, Cassie and spouse Jamie Lopez.

Great grandchildren Sadie Long, Trent Odom, Gage Odom, Conner Wilson, Emily Wilson, Ava Lopez, Aubrey Lopez, Max Smith, Cody Smith, Lyla Smith, and Mila Lopez as well great - great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Hermitage Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Jimmie will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his love and faith will remain in our hearts forever.
