Johnny "Pops" Overstreet

Johnny framed and built houses for 40 years. He had a passion for flying and was a private pilot.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Gay Overstreet, and grandson, Jonathan Overstreet.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Minnie Overstreet; sons, John Overstreet Jr. (Linda), Ronnie Overstreet (Enitra), and Bobby Overstreet (Kim); sisters, Beverly Edwards, Linda Davis (Bart), Barbara Morton, and Deborah Qualls (Troy), 8 grandchildren, and several other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, March 12 at Hermitage Funeral Home from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and also Tuesday, March 13 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm.

The Celebration of Life Service will be Tuesday, March 13 at Hermitage Funeral Home at 2:00 pm with Pastor Jud Hays officiating.

Interment will follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
