She worked as the head custodian for Metro Nashville Schools for 50 years. She loved to laugh, play practical jokes and cook. Mrs. McCrary spent her free time with her family and traveling the world.
She is survived by her daughter Donna E. (Joe) McCrary; stepdaughter Tami Jones; grandchildren Chris (Jo) McCrary Carri (James) Finney, Heather (Brandon) Kelley; great grandchildren Benjamin McCrary, Jasper Finney, Jackson Finney, Peyton Finney, Donavon Presley, and Hannah Presley; siblings Jerry (Nancy), Moore and Randy Moore, also many nieces, nephew and a large extended family.
She is preceded in death by her husband Marshall McCrary, son Johnny Smith; great grandson Macklin Finney, parents Robert and Ruby Moore, brother Jimmy Moore and sister Maybelle Harding.
Gathering of family and friends Wednesday May 26, 2021 from 11:00-1:00pm at Hermitage Funeral Home. Celebration of Life will begin at 1:00pm also at Hermitage Funeral Home. Burial following Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
