Joyce W. Pugh

She was born on September 28, 1943, in Rockdale, Tennessee, to the late Willie and Lexie Bell Woods. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for the State of Tennessee for several years. She resided in Hermitage, Tennessee for the past 45 years. Joyce enjoyed sewing, shopping for antiques, and making friends everywhere she went. She loved her family, animals, and friends unconditionally. Joyce was an excellent mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her son, Keith Pugh and his wife, Stacey; daughter, Kellie Casas; former husband and lifelong friend, Freddy Pugh; five grandchildren, Nick Casas, Josh Pugh, Jodi Tucker and her husband, Brad, Jordan Pugh, and Josie Pugh; three great grandchildren, Shayla, Beau, and Brady, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Hermitage Funeral Home from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm.

The Celebration of Life Service will be held in the chapel of Hermitage Funeral Home at 2:00 pm with Celebrant Wendell Poole officiating.

Interment will follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
