My dear and darlin' lifelong girlfriend! This being apart is just temporary - we'll catch up afterwhile, don't you Know?! We've known one another since 6th grade when you first got to Tennessee from New Jersey! You shared your family especially your Mama who has always been my second mother, Ma Hamilton. Wasn't she always beautiful  (like you!!) and would be wearing high heeled shoes in the kitchen, cookin' up a fine meal, and Always some treat under the cake plate! Your Daddy, Hall, ever so tall, would each time be teasin me tellin me my supper was gonna cost me a quarter.  And for those years Robert was good as my "little" brother too! You and I know I wouldn't of, couldn't of, survived my childhood but for the kind of love and home your family readily shared. Us keepin in touch meant everything to me and coming north from Florida to see your 'baby boys' before I left for the west was something I had to do. Aren't we something for getting in still another wonderfull visit 8 or so years ago - evidence again of your knack for making the impossible, do-able! You Always have been friends to so many, making each feel special and loved, and surely as well, those years on your important job, caring for your employees and the company. You and Charles together and your fine sons and brides and pride you felt in them all and in Jeremy, will live on forever in our hearts and minds of each of us who are So fortunate to know you and of your family, Judy.  I love you Ever and thank you for our friendship and your life, so well lived!! 

Melinda and I share the Spalding family's sorrow in the passing of Ms. Judith.   I know her indirectly through my interaction with her fine sons, Mark and Bill.  A Mother who raised these gentlemen to be of such high character in terms of integrity, work ethic, competence, and sense of humor is certainly a person to admire.  She will be missed in this world, but her legacy continues to live through these wonderful co-workers of mine.    Mike Hunkler

JuJu I'm so going to miss you. You were so special to us all. I am beyond blessed having known you. I'm so glad Melissa and I were able to be with you during your last days. I truly hope we were able to make you feel love during your final night. I hope your family were satisfied with your care we provided for your going away. I'm going to miss those sweet hugs you would give me. You were the sweetest little lady I have ever met. I am happy you are no longer suffering. You will forever be loved and missed. Brookdale lost a big piece of us when we lost you. It was an honor to be able to take care of you. May you forever rest in peace. Today is my first night back since you left and I find myself wanting to go to your room to check on you. JuJu heaven is a little brighter since you are there. Love and miss you JuJu!

Mrs. Judy or Jud's or Jud'kins as I called her was the most selfless person, she always worried more about everyone than herself. 
Scott & I spent many weekends hanging out with Mark, Pam & Bill at her pool. She loved her pool. I think she enjoyed cleaning it more than swimming in it. She loved to clean! I did her nails for years & loved all our chats. 
She made the best cheese ball ever! Everytime I ask for the  recipe she would say I'll just make you one! It has a secret ingredient! LOL Then one day she gave it to me. I said your secret is safe with me & we had a good laugh. Jud's you will be so missed, but we know that you're so happy to see Alvin, Granny, Papa & Robert. 
I will try to keep Mark, Pam & Jeremy in line, but you know that's not an easy task! 
Big hugs & I'm sure you are flying high with those huge angel you have now. 
Mark, Pam, Jeremy, Bill & Tish we are here for you guys & love yall bunches.

I will carry Judy in my heart forever. I am so blessed to have met this wonderful, sweet lady and provide her care at Brookdale where she resided the last few years. I’ve only known her seven months but she knew she always had me wrapped around her finger since the moment I met her. She was my other half at work. I’m heartbroken she won’t be by my side here anymore and I already miss her unbelievably but I have peace in knowing she is reunited with her love and is healed and happy. JuJu I can’t wait to be with you again someday. 

Judy was the best mother-in-love ever. She has always treated me like a daughter. Her and my Alvin meant so much to me. From the second I met them both, I fell in love with them. I love them as I love my own parents. My heart is broken but I do rejoice in the fact that she is once again with the love of her life, Charles Alvin Spalding. They were married 45 years. She is now right where she has wanted to be since Alvin passed away in 2009. She loved her kids and "Her Baby, Jeremy" as she lovingly called her only grandchild. She and Alvin spoiled Jeremy rotten and we wouldn't have wanted it any other way. "Judykins" as I called her, will be missed terribly. Until we all meet again, we love you so much and you will ALWAYS be in our hearts. I love you my Judykins, Pam
