Judy was a long time member of Old Hickory Church of Christ. She grew up in Old Hickory where she met her High School Sweetheart Lanny. She was a loving wife and mother.
She is preceded in death by parents Ford A. & Geraldine Ballinger. Sister Nancy (Ernie) Williams.
Survived by Husband of 62 years Lanny Simpson. Daughter Pam (Keith) Bodiford. Son Mark Simpson. Brother Tony (Sherry) Ballinger. Granddaughter Baylie Bodiford. Grandson Reece Bodiford. Great grandson Oliver Douglas and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation with family Monday from 9 am till 11 am. Followed by a Celebration of Life at 11 am with Bro Aubrey Johnson officiating. Interment to follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to charity of choice.
