Dennis, Laura M - Age 49 of Nashville, TN. After a long illness, she went to be with the Lord, surrounded by her loving family Monday, January 28, 2013. She graduated from McGavock Comprehensive High School. She was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking and traveling. Left to cherish her memory and miss her companionship; her daughter, Jessica Nicole Dennis; mother, Janie M. Stanley; father, Billy Allen Morton; sisters, Lynne (Mike) Gooch and Becky (Jim) Richardson; and a host of other family members. A brief funeral service will be conducted at ten a.m. the morning of Friday, February 1, 2013 at Hermitage Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 535 Shute Lane, Old Hickory, TN 37138. Visitation with the family will be at the conclusion of the service.
