Linda Fay Windsor, age 82, of Westmoreland, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2024. She was born in Trousdale, TN on August 17, 1942 to her parents Carl C. and Inez Thompson Rogers who precede her in death.
Linda grew up in Tennesse and enjoyed her life here. Linda worked for Aladdin Industries where she had a nice career and stayed with them until. She would meet and marry Billy Ferris Shrum with whom she had her 2 sons. Later she would meet and marry Robert Windsor whom she enjoyed her life with until his death. Linda was a Christian and was a member of Bethel family worship center in Lafayette, TN. Linda enjoyed travel, going on cruises and cooking for family. She was a wonderful woman who took good care of her family and will be forever missed and loved by her family, friends and all that knew her.
She is survived by her sons and daughter, Billy and Dennis Shrum, and Sherrie Darlene Johnson. She is also survived by her sisters Rella "Cookie" Mitchell and her deceased husband Donald and by Peggy Gordon and her deceased husband Bobby, 3 Grandchildren Travis Shrum, Keiona Moss and Ashley (Jason) Cunningham and 3 Great Grandchildren, Oscar Cunningham, Ethan Moss and Brantley Whitmire.
A gathering of family and friends for Linda will be held Saturday, August 31, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Hermitage Funeral Home, 535 Shute Ln, Old Hickory, TN 37138, followed by a funeral service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the Chapel with burial in Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
