Preceded in death by husband, Fred McGinnis; sons, Billy Day, Tony Day, Eddie Day.
Survived by children, Shannon McGinnis, Ronnie (Lorie) Day, Tim (Mindy) Day, Josh Mitzel; 13 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
Lois was a wonderful, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved spending time with family and with friends, she never met a stranger, loved everyone, and treated everyone with kindness and compassion. Lois lived her life as the Proverbs 31 women, she truly was a southern lady, from her wisdom, kindness, hospitality and cooking. Memories of Lois will live on in the hearts and of friends and family. She will truly be missed by all. Lois was a member of Lighthouse Church in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee.
Visitation Saturday, December 8th, 9am till 11am with Funeral Service to follow at 11am with Pastor Candi Kidd officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Nashville, Tennessee. Paul Denton, Matt Kough, Scott Wheeley, Jeff Jeffries, David Siever, and Daryl Guffey will serve as pallbearers.
