Lydia Malone Furlough

Lydia Malone Furlough/ Old Hickory, TN Age 81 of Nashville, TN passed away February 14, 2015 after an extended illness. She deeply loved her family and was a devoted Catholic and member of St. Stephen Catholic Community. Preceded in death by her parents, Harvey E. Malone Sr., Rosalie A. Malone, and her sister Mary Malone Sheridan. She is survived by her husband of 62 years Carl W. Furlough. Her daughters, Linda F. Sullivan (Don), and Carla F. Hinson (Richard), grandchildren, Tracy Sullivan, Jennifer Solesby, Megan Brady, John Hinson, and Nicole Killgore, and six great grandchildren. Lydia has two surviving brothers, Pat and Albert Malone. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved to garden and cook. Our mother was sweet in nature extremely giving and had the most beautiful eyes and smile you have ever seen. Her loss will be felt by all of us and it will never be the same without her. Her family will miss and remember her sweet giving nature, warm eyes, and beautiful smile. Her loss will be felt by everyone that knew her. She blessed our lives beyond measure.

Visitation at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, 14544 Lebanon Road, Old Hickory TN, 9 to 11, funeral at 11 AM, burial immediately after at Hermitage Memorial Gardens
