Marcella Faye Jones affectionately known as Marcy, age 91, of Greenbrier, Tennessee, passed away at home on February 24, 2026, at 9:45 a.m. Born on October 31, 1934, Marcy was a beloved, compassionate, devoted, hard-working, generous, kind-hearted, gentle, and very giving woman whose life touched many through quiet strength and steady care.
Marcy devoted more than forty years to a long and meaningful career in healthcare management. She began her work in Illinois at Hinsdale Hospital and later continued her service during her tenure at Madison Hospital (Tennessee Christian Medical Center) in Tennessee. She was deeply committed to her responsibilities and was passionate about helping people and brought dignity and care to the work she did each day.
Marcy was the beloved wife of more than 52 years to Lynn Jones. She loved her son Ric dearly, and she showered her grandchildren and great-grandchildren with the affection of a devoted grandmother, offering warmth, attention, and a steady presence that will be deeply missed.
She loved ice cream, especially Blue Bell and Baskin Robbins, and she always had containers in her freezer, delighting in taking the grandchildren out for a sweet treat and sharing those simple, happy moments together. A personal joy in Marcy’s life was her fascination with bells, and she was an avid collector of them—each one a small treasure that reflected her gentle spirit and appreciation for simple, meaningful beauty.
