Margaret Earline May Nixon

She was born in Mount Juliet, the daughter of the late Joe and Verna Brown May. Earline was a DuPont retiree with 25 years of service in personnel. She shared 70 happy years of marriage with her sweetheart, W.L. Nixon. She was a longtime active member of Corinth Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, her 10 siblings precede her in death.

Earline is survived by her loving husband, W.L. Nixon; son, Dr. Larry (Janet) Nixon; grandson, Zach (Amy) Nixon; great grandson, Ryan Nixon; devoted caregiver, Phyllis Peters, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at Hermitage Funeral Home on Sunday, April 8 from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm, and Monday, April 9 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.

The Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at Hermitage Funeral Home on Monday, April 9 at 11:00 am with Bro. Alan Hutchinson and Bro. Ralph Neal officiating.

Entombment will follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
