Morris “Mo” Wayne Adcock, of Mount Juliet, TN, passed away on Wednesday, October 19th, 2022 at the tender age of 57. He was born on April 25th, 1965 to a doting mother, Carol Allen. Stubborn as the day is long, he held on as long as he could, not for himself, but for the ones that consumed his heart and that he loved the most. Peacefully transitioning into the spiritual realm and arriving at his final destination of heaven.
Morris Wayne graduated from Mount Juliet High school in May 1984. After graduating high school he went straight into the workforce as a brilliant and talented machinist. He worked from sun up to sun down to hone his craft. In doing so, his hard work paid off when he opened his own machine shop called, Pride Machine. Morris Wayne, literally, started from the lowest tier to reach the highest. His success wasn’t based on his financial achievements. His success was defined by his ability to take care of his children. Having the drive, a purpose and an unconditional love for them, he achieved this success time and again over the years. With his enormous personality and a heart even bigger, he ultimately met his soul mate, the woman that didn’t even have to pull out a whip to tame him, Mary Lee Adcock. Over the years their love blossomed. Together they lived and together they became grandparents to McKenzie, Corbin and Jaxson and to them they would forever be known as “Pappy” and “Lee Lee.”
Morris is survived by children Sarah, (spouse: Brad Allen Cathey), Jessica (spouse: Josh Cannon), and Dustin; his grandchildren McKenzie, Corbin, and Jaxson; life partner Mary Lee Adcock; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and life-long friends.
Morris lived an amazing life having died so young. As a family, we will forever be thankful for the memories and the experiences that will forever entangle us with the man we loved so much.
“Cheers to the Man, the myth and the legend, Morris Wayne Adcock.” - Josh Cannon
