Mimi was my godmother....I found her after so many years...please, one of her children contact me


My heart still hurts and I cannot believe that I will never see
Mimi, my almost sister, again.

I will always remember the good times we had together and
never forget you.

I am sorry to hear of Mimi's death.  Even though we hadn't had much contact I always felt that we were compatriots in the rareified world of enameling.  Last tie me I saw her was in 2009 at The Enamelist Society Conference in Oakland. Her vitality and energy will be sorely missed.

I met Denise Walsh on FaceBook only about a half year ago, and we became friends. Through Denise I learned how loved her mother was. I'm so very sorry for you, Denise, and your family for the loss of such a wonderful woman and I hope that every time you think of her your sense of grief will lessen and that you will have a small smile on your face.

Mimi was one of my dearest friends.  I am very glad that I had an opportunity to visit her just before Thanksgiving.  She will be missed.

I just learned about dear Mimi's passing.  My deepest condolences to all her family.  She was a delightful person and an amazingly gifted artist.  She will be dearly missed by all who loved her.

Denise, I am so saddened to hear of your Mom's death.She was a first class talented LADY.We will all miss a friend,but Heaven gained another Angel. I only knew Mimi for just over a year, but it felt like we had been friends our whole lives. It was joy to spend time together talking about art and color and creativity. She never stopped being a true artist. But her highest love was for her family and friendships and I am truly blessed for having known her. I will miss you so, Mimi!

Mimi was such a dear lady and so very talented.  I am so thankful that she could be at the special Tennessee Art League events this year and have her work on display in the gallery.  She inspired so many people and will be greatly missed.

I didn't know Mimi for very long, but admired her so much for her art as well as her friendship.  She was a warm, caring person, and I feel privileged to have known her.  My prayers go out to Mimi's family.

As Tante Mimi's niece, I took for granted all the amazing things she could do and make. My favorites were the yeast cakes, her unparalleled enamels, and the Pysanky eggs. I learned much from her as an artist, but even more from her optimism and good spirits. I felt welcomed and cherished whenever I was with her. I will likewise cherish her memory and I will miss her.
