Norma Tomlin White

Norma Tomlin White, age 79, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2017 after a prolonged illness. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by husband of fifty years, Bobby White. Survived by sister Jeanette (Ted) Keller and brother George (Sharon) Hamrick; Children: Becky (Murray) Mallard, Ray (Kim) White, and Beth (Jay) McClellan; Grandchildren: Josh (Ashly) McClellan, Christen (Karl) Bryant, Jessica (Casey) Woods, Megan (Brian) Liddle, Brittany (Mike) Willis, Matt White, and Tori Mallard; Great-grandchildren; Maddie, Rylynn, and Evelyn Liddle, Cameron and Kaylee Bryant, Gavin and Jake McClellan, Beau Willis.

She was a longtime member of Andrew Price Memorial United Methodist. She was an avid reader and gardener, and she loved spending time with her family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl 17, Chicago, IL 60601-7633.

Visitation with the family is from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Friday, April 14, 2017 with a Celebration of Life Service at 11 a.m. in Hermitage Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Melisa Derseweh officiating. Interment will follow in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Jay and Josh McClellan, Murray Mallard, Tyler Hamrick, Matt and Russ White will serve as Pallbearers.
