Peggy Marie Marsh

Being a wife and the mother of three children, there were always plenty of things to keep Peggy busy. Still, she had a desire to work outside the home, as well, so she began selling beauty control make-up. Eventually, Peggy ended up working for many years as an office worker for Piggly Wiggly Grocery until her retirement.

Peggy is predeceased by her father, Edwin Hayes Connelly; her mother, Thelma (Lyle) Connelly; and her husband, Donald Eugene Hatch. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Hatch Smith; daughter, Denise Hatch Barrett; son, Jeff Hatch; grandchildren Ryan Smith (Kayla), Rebekah Smith Morris, Cameron Hatch (Bella), Sean Hatch (Haleigh); great grandchildren Riley Smith, Karson Smith, Kai Morris, Kole Morris, Klay Morris, Cato Scully, Lyric Scully, Niko Norfleet, Theo Norfleet, Engo Mijia, Lucy Hatch, and Cason Hatch. Peggy also leaves behind numerous extended family members.

There will be a Gathering of Family & Friends on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at Hermitage Funeral Home from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will follow in the Tulip Grove Chapel at the funeral home at 2:00 PM with Marty Rothschild officiating. Following the service, Peggy will be laid to rest in the Mausoleum at Hermitage Memorial Gardens next to her husband, Donald Hatch.
