Mr. Webster was the owner of Hermitage Hills Sanitation Company and led a life with varied hobbies and interests. Professionally, he sold real estate for a few years. In the world of sports, he was a fan of the Tennessee Titans and was an avid fisherman. As a musician, he played the guitar, sang, and was a part of a local band for a period of time.
Mr. Webster is preceded in death by his parents, Charles H. and Lucille (Holland) Webster; a son, Mark Webster; sister, Helen Cavender; brother, Charles Webster; brother, James Webster; and a sister, Glenda Humphrey.
Mr. Webster is survived by Carolyn Webster, son, Chad Webster (Vicki); son, Matthew Webster; step-daughter, Bobbie Jo Hemmen; grandchildren Gary Valentine, Marlo Webster, Zoe Webster, Kylee Phillips, Claire Phillips; sisters Shirley Mayberry and Pamela Thompson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends Thursday, February 24, from 5pm – 8pm at Hermitage Funeral Home. There will also be a time of visitation on Friday, February 25, from 10am – 11am. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 11am in the chapel of the funeral home, officiated by Dr. Judson Hayes. Interment will follow in the Garden of Everlasting Life at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
