Robbie Grant Heltsley

Robbie attended the Tennessee School for the Blind. After graduation, she was employed by the State of Tennessee as a Stand Operator for more than thirty years, making friends with so many with whom she came in contact. She was also a member of the Middle Tennessee Council for the Blind.

As the holidays rolled around, she always enjoyed helping prepare Halloween and Christmas parties for nieces,nephews, and neighborhood children. They were always big events and lots of fun. Robbie loved children. Not having children of her own, she ALWAYS enjoyed spoiling her nieces, nephews, and friends’ children and grandchildren. There was always candy on her coffee table. Robbie loved well . . . she was well-loved . . . and she will be greatly missed.

Robbie is preceded in death by her father, Fletcher Grant; her mother, Ethel Newby Grant; her loving husband, Dale Heltsley; sisters, Helen Cordell (Ralph) and Pauline Norfleet (John); and brothers, Arvilee Grant and Ralph Grant (Sharon); niece, Linda Enix; nephews Jerry Norfleet, Joel Norfleet, and Thomas Grant. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Helen Grant. Robbie also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.
