This is a photo that was from a visit we all had in 2017 when all 3 girls families were together with Dad & Mom,  At McKendrree. Stephanie Carrigan Dankwardt , short one on far left,  Claudia, Melissa.

Hi Anne, Stephanie, Melissa, Claudia and families, I am so sorry to hear of Bobby’s passing.   I am sure you don’t remember any of us but we remember all of you.  It has been a long time since we have seen you.   I am Richard and Marie Pickle’s daughter.  Richard was Sam and Sarah Pickle’s son and a brother to Sam Jr., Doyle, Charles (Bud), Virginia and Carrie Mae.  Aunt Vera and Bonnie lived next door to our  farm and my Daddy and Aunt Vera always put their gardens out together, one one day and the other the next day.   Aunt Vera could make the best chocolate pie you ever put in your mouth.  We often visited with Terry and Estelle after they moved to Shelbyville.  Sam Jr., Dean, Aunt Gin Gin (Virginia) and  Uncle Ben enjoyed their visits and being with them.  I called Betty Grace to let her know of Bobby’s passing and she hoped she could find your phone number.   Anne,  wanted to reach out to let you know how sorry we are to hear of Bobby’s passings and  may the precious memories you have  always warm your heart.  Lynn Pickle Wilhelm

It's always good to have a nice lunch to go to.  And that happened for years after Woody, my husband, and I moved here to McKendree Village in 2015.  Lunch is a good idea, but when there is a special person coming in to join the others in the Oak Room it is much better.  That person was always Bob Carrigan.  He and Anne were special friends from the beginning and his humor and magnificent smile won our hearts.  We never felt like new comers when Bob was there with his caring and concern.  We missed him
so much when he needed to go to Health Care.  But we could always send our love and prayers when Anne went over to visit. Now he has gone to that Heavenly home, and we will thank our Lord always for our dear friend, Bob.

Our Daughter Patty this is one of her favorite pictures of her Granddaddy giving Red Roses to his Wife (Grandmommy) in Crossville TN. at the Campground. 

My Daddy, he was a beautiful man , a Christian who read to me and my Sisters often when we were kids, his sparkle was having saw dust on his pants and shoes when I was growing up, I made a coffee table with my Daddy in his Wood Shop in our Basement he let me turn the legs on a machine.   I collected State Spoons Daddy and I built a Spoon display from wood.  When we went camping one time Daddy forgot to pack the tent poles, our neighbors had a key to our house and shipped the tent poles to the local Greyhound Bus Station to the town we were going to camp in.
That was definitely funny Stephanie my oldest Sister we laughed so hard.
Daddy and Mother built a baby doll crib and baby doll play pin,  had it in our Station Wagon all packed where Stephanie and I could not see it, We spent Christmas with Daddys Parents we called Granny & Pop what a great Christmas ❤. 
On Saturday December 25, 2021 Mother was with Daddy, she called each of their Daughters so we could talk to our Daddy.  I was so happy to tell my Daddy "Merry Christmas I love  you", for my Daddy to tell me "I love you too, Merry Christmas".

I have many memories! First ones when Anne and I were counselors at Camp Dunroamin and Anne was anxiously waiting to get letters from Bob who was in Korea. Then being in their beautiful wedding. I remember Bernie and I visiting 

them in their first home and seeing the beautiful dining room table Bob had made. He was quite a craftsman ! Then they moved away for many years. When they moved back to Crossville, Tn. , we had a nice visit with Bob and Anne. Bernie always enjoyed Bob’s company.
When they moved to Trevecca Tower, we had several nice visits. Bob was very proud of his children and grandchildren. and loved telling us about them. 
Bob was devoted to his family. and I know he will be missed.

We are residents  of McKendree Village.  When we first came here to live in 2015 it wasn't long before we met Bob and Anne.  It didn't take long to see that Bob Carrigan had a sense of humor. He loved to move about in the dining room  and give people a boost. If you felt a bit blue that day, it didn't last long with Bob around.
One thing was quite evident with Bob and Anne. They loved one another and took seriously their covenant of marriage .... to stay true until they were parted by death. We will miss him. Bless you Anne. You are in our prayers always.  Sorry I was unable to assist with the funeral. Bless you ALL.        WOODY AND LUCY

This is my Papa, I’m Melissa Jones daughter, Bonnie. One of my favorite memories with my papa was- when they ran the Bean Pot Campground. I’d go down and visit almost every summer! This particular summer they had a 2 stacked dryer for the laundry area come in. The box was huge!! I asked papa if I could play with the box. He gave me a box cutter, zip ties and some old lids. I made a spaceship! I played with it for hours. He let me keep it till the rain came and had to throw it out. He would always tinker in his shop and I loved watching him. He showed me how to use a hammer.. I always wanted to go for rides on his tractor..  watching my papa build things/ wood work was just the coolest thing to me.  There’s so many favorite things I will forever hold on to. I love you papa!!
