EDWARDS, SR., Roy Gene, age 80 of Goodlettsville, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2011. Survived by his son, Roy (Tonya) Edwards, Jr.; granddaughters, Marissa and Jayna Edwards; brother, Joe (Rubye) Edwards; sister, Mary Ann (Percy) Young; numerous nieces and nephews; dearest friend, Peggy Edwards. Mr. Edwards was a member of First Baptist Church of Donelson. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2011 in Hermitage Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers. Visitation 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday and 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Tuesday.
