Mrs. Lester was a member of First Baptist Church, Nashville, for many years. She enjoyed all aspects of growing plants and flowers and was always willing to share with friends and neighbors the knowledge she gained.
Mrs. Lester is survived by her sons, Michael W. and Phillip B. Lester (Catherine); and her sister, Nancy Allred.
There will be a time of visitation on Wednesday May 10, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life service will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the Tulip Grove Room at the funeral home with Dr. Judson Hays, officiating. Following the service, Mrs. Lester will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Garden of Faith at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
