MATHIS, Sr., Terry Lee, age 55 of Cross Plains, passed away Friday, December 2, 2011. Preceded in death by his father, Bobby L Mathis and son, Terry Lee Mathis, Jr. Survived by his wife of 16 years, Kim Mathis; children, Hunter Mathis, Allen (Jessica) Hood and Kasey (Ricky) Clifton; grandchildren, Mckenlee Hood, Amy & Kain Clifton; mother, Mary Ann (Bob) Hardison; sister, Darlene (Roger) Sparkman; 2 nieces and a host of extended family and friends. Mr. Mathis was born at Larson AFB in Moses Lake, WA. He spent his early childhood in Columbia, TN and grew up in Old Hickory, TN where he attended DuPont High School. He was a member of Portland Church of The Nazarene and was a retired Captain on the Fire Dept. for the City of White House. Funeral services will be conducted Noon Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2011 in Hermitage Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jack Oden and Pastor Rich Cook officiating. Interment will follow in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Friends will serve as Pallbearers. Visitation 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday and 9:00 a.m. – Noon Tuesday.
