Cathey (Sr.), Wallace “Wally” Frank, age 67, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2017, after an extended illness. Wally will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Darlene, his son, Wally, Jr., his faithful “best friend” Isabelle, his brothers Terry (wife, Teresa) and Michael, sister Glenda Scott, nephews Ricky, Jr. and Chris Hicks, sister-in-law, Ramona Holt, his devoted extended family of friends Carole, Donna, and Phil, the many friends he met at the job he loved with the Metro Water Department (42 years), and his friends at Lebanon Animal Hospital, especially Nikki and Angie. Preceded in death by parents, Marjorie Phelps and Wallace A. Cathey, and brothers, Richard G. Cathey, Sr. and Ralph Gillis.
A Funeral Mass for Wally will be held 11AM Friday, November 10, 2017, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 192 Graylynn Drive, Donelson. Inurnment will follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens. The Reverend Stephen Klasek will officiate.
