Agnes L. Martin

Ms. Martin was born in New York City and lived and worked in the city until her retirement from The New York Public Library where she was a Librarian and Branch Manager. She was a graduate of the College of Mount Saint Vincent in Riverdale, NY.

Ms. Martin and her family vacationed in Old Lyme for many years before they moved here permanently from New York City about thirty years ago. A communicant of Christ the King Church Ms. Martin helped establish a parish library several years ago. She was also an avid gardener and liked to travel especially enjoying a trip to France a few years ago with her sister.

Ms. Martin is predeceased by her father Louis W. Martin and her mother Agnes Feeney Martin of New York. She is survived by her sister Catherine Martin of Old Lyme, CT and many cousins.

The funeral procession will assemble on Friday February 8th at 9:30am at Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, 13 Beckwith La., Old Lyme, and will proceed to a 10:30am Mass of Christian Burial in Christ The King Church, McCurdy Rd., Old Lyme. Burial will follow in Duck River Cemetery, Old Lyme.
