

Mrs. Vidou was born on June 4, 1936 in Waterbury, CT the daughter of Michael and Victoria Petrucci. She honorably served in the US Airforce. She was employed for years as a CNA at Ferry Point Convalescent Home , and was a secretary after leaving the Airforce where she met her husband Julian and some housekeeping over the years, but most of all she was a mother to her children, a wife to her husband and a friend to many.
Ann loved to cook and was known for her large family dinners, particularly her homemade pizza. All were welcome in her home. She had a strong catholic Italian upbringing, which showed in all aspects of her life. She was a source of stability to her husband and children through the years, and at the end of her life continued to show her strength in her battle with cancer. She instilled morals and values in her children and grandchildren who were the joy in her life. Before settling down in old lyme to raise a family she was in the airforce and traveled extensively. She aslo was an avid reader who love a good mystery.
Mrs. Vidou is predeceased by her husband Julian Vidou in 2010 and survived by her sons Michael Pitts of Hadlyme and Leonard Vidou of Old Lyme, daughter Danielle Adams of Old Lyme as well as her two grandchildren Jeffrey Keish Jr and Priscilla Pitts.
Visiting Hours will be held on Friday, February 5, 2016 at 9:30am in Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, 13 Beckwith Ln., Old Lyme, CT for a 11:00am Mass of Christian Burial in Christ the King Church, Old Lyme. Interment will follow in Duck River Cemetery, Old Lyme. Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, Old Lyme is handling the arrangements.
