

Tony was born June 16, 1948 in Popoli, Italy. He was the youngest child of the late Giovanni and Genoveffa (Amicucci) Camarra, loving, hardworking and humble parents who brought the family to America in 1958. After graduating from high school in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Tony enrolled in the United States Army. He served his country in the Vietnam War as a solider with the 82nd Airborne Division, where his distinguished combat service earned him numerous honors, including the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star service medals. Returning to civilian life, Tony worked for Jenkins Bros in Bridgeport, Connecticut before starting his own business, Process Components, Inc., located in Franklin, Connecticut.
Tony had a strong sense of civic pride and his generosity was well-know in the community. He was passionate about landscape design and woodworking and he enjoyed employing his considerable talents in these areas to help his friends and neighbors.
Tony is survived by Linda (Rollins) Camarra, his beloved wife and friend of 43 years; his son Christopher of Washington, D.C.; daughter-in-law Tanya Augustson Camarra of Davidsonville, MD; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and John Crown of Centerbrook; and three wonderful grandchildren, Caden, Nathan, and Trevor. He is also survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Franca and Vincent DeFabritiis of Watertown, MA; a brother and sister-in-law, Domenic and Maryann Camarra of Medford, MA; a sister-in-law, Jean Montalbano of Everett, MA; a brother-in-law Robert Rollins and wife Maryann of Peabody, MA; a brother-in-law Richard Rollins and wife Lillian of Wakefield, MA; and many beautiful nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 8, 2014 in the Lyme Congregational Church. Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
