He was predeceased by his father, Herbert F. Miller and mother, Margaret Miller.
Richard worked and retired as a supervisor at Electric Boat in Groton.
He later formed RFM productions and created videos of local lakes and rivers throughout New England and charitable fishing tournaments.
He is survived by his cousin Kathleen and her husband Mark Murphy. Richard took great joy in living on Rogers Lake, spending time with his cousins and fishing.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on December 12th at 11:00 am at Christ the King Church on McCurdy Road Old Lyme, CT. Burial will immediately follow at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Cancer Society.
