William R. Connell, 85, of Sill Ln., died Sunday, October 17, 2010 at his residence.
Mr. Connell was born on March 7, 1925 in Bayonne, NJ the son of Richard and Elizabeth Connell. He served as an Officer in the U.S. Army for over 20 years. After his retirement he started his second career as a school teacher in the Old Lyme school system retiring in 1990. He married Nancy Hanshaw in December 1965 in Germany, she survives him today.
Services will be private. Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, Old Lyme is handling the arrangements.
