David Alan Dunn

He was born June 27, 1979 in New Britain, the son of Maureen Griffin-Joubert Dunn and William M. Dunn of Old Saybrook.

David was a talented and well-respected mechanic/technician in the shoreline area and was employed by Between the Bridges Marina in Old Saybrook. A graduate of Old Saybrook High School and the Baran Institute of Technology, David continued studying and perfecting his skills at the Mercury Marine University in New Hampshire.

In addition to his parents, David is survived by his children, Matthew Robert and Kayla Ann Dunn, his brother Todd M. Joubert, grandmother Carol L. Dunn of Avon and grandfather Roy R. Powers of South Windsor.

A celebration of David's life for relatives and friends will be held at 1:00, Sunday, December 29 at the Mystic Yachting Center at the Mystic Shipyard, 100 Essex Street, Mystic, CT. In lieu of flowers, David's parents have established a college fund for his children.
